The Nexus is a community-first ecosystem bringing together three experiences (The Chess Nexus, The Art Nexus, and The Social Nexus) through in-person events across Mumbai and Bengaluru. The Nexus is operated by The Nexus, a partnership firm based in Mumbai, India (“The Nexus”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Contact form: when you reach out through our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the reason for your enquiry, subject, and message.
- Event registration & ticketing: when you register for or book a ticket to an event, we collect your name, email address, and phone number through our event-management system.
- Community channels: if you join one of our WhatsApp communities via a link on this site, that group and your details there are governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. We only see what you choose to share inside the group, not your WhatsApp account information.
- Automatically collected information: like most websites, our server and security plugins may log your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.
Payments
Ticket payments on this website, once enabled, are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials. These are handled directly by Razorpay under its own security and privacy standards. We only receive confirmation that a payment was successful, along with the amount and order reference.
How We Use Your Information
